How does a Delivery work
We receive our paid orders for a specific week on a Monday at about 12:00
The chickens are processed, and we start to dispatch them from our store in Windhoek as the customers come to collect them. All chickens that must be transported through Namibia only leave our depot on the Monday evening at about 18:30 due to the hot weather.
We travel from Windhoek through all the main towns to Ondangwa delivering the chickens to the towns as we arrive in them.
If a client cannot collect during the night hours, we leave the chickens with Formula Couriers in Otjiwarongo and Tsumeb. Chicken farmers can then collect them the Tuesday morning at Formula Couriers.
If we have a big delivery for Ondangwa our truck drive through to Ondangwa through the night. (this is the only safe way to transport them) All birds traveling to the coast is collected at Otjiwarongo and transported to Swakopmund with deliveries at the towns as we pass through them.
